Murder of the wife and daughter of Mir Bakhtiar Domki, member of Balochistan Assembly, has enraged the people of Balochistan. The ladies happen to be from Bugti family. It is mentionable here that Domki’s wife is the sister of Brahamdagh Bugti who is the head of a militant group and seeking for political asylum in Switzerland now a days.
It is quite clear that murder of Domki’s wife was pre planned and there could be many reasons behind these killings It is also possible that the murder could be the result of strong tribal enmity of Bugti tribe with other tribes of Balochistan, or the victim may be killed to strengthen the case of “political asylum” in Switzerland for Brahamdagh bugti. Or maybe just to spoil the image of Pakistan security forces by blaming them for extrajudicial killings. Security agencies have offered to form joint investigation team for the transparent investigation of the incident so that the real murderer can be unmasked. But it is a question mark that why agencies are not allowed to be the part of the investigation.
We can say that murder of wife, daughter and driver of Domki and current wave of blasts are interlinked and there may be the great interest of those who are seeking political asylum in foreign countries.
