Balochistan raises some questions

 Owing to its geo-strategic and geo-economic significance, US think tanks and CIA has been covertly debating and planning about the future of Balochistan since last many years. A week after US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher chaired a congressional committee’s hearing on Balochistan, he tabled a resolution in the US Congress calling for right of self-determination for Baloch people and their ‘own sovereign country’. The proposed bill states that Balochistan is currently divided between Pakistan, Iran and Afgha­nistan with no sovereign rights of its own.
Already, maps by US authorities showing Pakistan all splintered with its Balochistan province together with Iran’s Sistan-Balochistan region becoming a Greater Balochistan were published. This Great Game reflected by the US strategic map makers has been for pretty long in full play in the province, and dollars in bagfuls and munitions have been flowing into further stirring up the insurgency and buying up the people. The nationalists in Balochistan due to their foreign association are likely to be enticed and provoked by anti-Pakistan forces/operatives of foreign intelligence agencies.
Brahamdagh Bugti who is in Afghanistan after his grandfather Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed in an encounter with the army was looked after by Afghan intelligence chief and subsequently transported to Switzerland on Afghan travel documents, where he is trying to seek asylum. He is being actively supported by undercover agents of CIA and RAW.
It is also learnt that he has been heavily funded to maintain his faction of Balochistan Liberation Army to create trouble in the province. On the other end, it is learnt that Sardar Akhtar Mengal had a meeting with Israeli and US officials. He has instructed his brother to strengthen and equip Lashkar-e-Balochistan and has instructed his party members to take part in the elections. That will demonstrate his political as well as militant clout in the province. By projecting himself as most powerful chieftain, he presumably wished to bag the biggest chunk of money doled out by donors funding Baloch movement.
The current wave of blasts and killing of MPA’s family are interlinked, which by logic, has been planned, staged and executed by either the CIA, RAW and MI-6 or in collation. To an observant mind, it appears strange that why suddenly some of the Western, US, Indian and local electronic and print media has swiftly started throwing mock on Pakistan in the name of human rights violation in Balochistan. Target killings of teachers, doctors and prominent personalities by these segments have induced a sense of insecurity.
Murder of the wife and daughter of Mir Bakhtiar Domki, member of Balochistan Assembly, has enraged the people of Balochistan. The ladies happen to be from Bugti family. It is mentionable here that Domki’s wife is the sister of Brahamdagh Bugti and granddaughter of late Akbar Bugti (Tribal Lord of Bugti Tribe). The victims were travelling in Karachi when the killers reportedly intercepted them and shot them dead at point-blank range. All this happened amid the ongoing wave of killings in Karachi. This could have been done by the segments operating against the state of Pakistan in order to create uncertainty among the masses and specifically worsen Balochistan situation.
As per set foreign agenda local lords of Balochistan immediately accused country’s intelligence agency for the murder of MPA’s family. Just after two days abduction and killing of soldiers of security forces were carried out by the foreign sponsored terrorists. Therefore we can say wife, daughter and driver of Domki and current wave of blasts are interlinked and being sponsored by foreign intelligence agencies backed by vested intelligentsia.
The questions arise, why as a nation we are failing to make public the US and other’s evil designs against the state of Pakistan? Why our think tanks, academicians, media and above all the politicians are not voicing against these conspiracies? Who kill Pakistani nationals mostly Baloch masses for the implementation of their agenda by creating hatred among the people? No outsider, whoever he may be, has any right whatsoever to meddle in our internal matters. And the Americans could only be the last to speak of human rights as their track record on this score is so foul especially if seen in the backdrop of Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The devastating exposes of Abu Gharib, Guantanamo and Bagram jails and rendition of suspects to foreign jails for torture, is known to everyone, they have no moral authority at all to pose as the champions of human rights anywhere.

The BLA Will Die A Natural Death

Baluchistan is 42 % of Pakistan territory. Its population is only 4% of Pakistan, about 8 million. Out of this, nearly 5 million are Pashtuns, Brahwis, Makranis, Punjabis and Sindhi Pakistani Muslims who have no problem at all. Within the Baluch Muslims Pakistanis, 90% are with Pakistan alhamdolillah. The separatists are just a few thousand misguided men from only 4 districts out of 28 districts of the province. 

Washington refuses to designate BLA as a terror group. Its links to multiple intelligence agencies in Afghanistan was exposed in 2009 when a UN worker in Quetta who was kidnapped by the BLA turned out to be a US citizen.

A detailed probe by Pakistani officials and US diplomats in Islamabad and Kabul found the kidnapping remote-controlled from a house in the Afghan capital not far from President Karzai’s residence. Since then, the US intelligence has moved the BLA assets to Europe.

Even now,Pakistan  choke the BLA from the Pakistani side but it continues to get money, fuel and weapons from the Afghan side. The BLA terrorists have a support network in Afghanistan that operates with the CIA’s knowledge and is sustained by Indians and anti-Pakistan elements in the Afghan intelligence, which, again, is an offshoot of the CIA.BLA kill Pakistanis in streets and market places. They sprang up after Americans landed in Afghanistan.First it was the USSR and India. Now it is the US and India.

Baluchistan is not going anywhere. The enemies and the traitors within cannot break away Baluchistan. There is a deliberate information war by the likes of SAFMA to create the hype to give this perception that Pakistan is breaking up. Stay firm and stay united. There is no power on earth which can undo Pakistan, InshAllah.

Hyberyar Marri, Brahmadagh Bugti and Attaullah Mengal are taking help from US and India to wage a war against Pakistan but the reality is even within Bugti and marri tribe, there are thousands of youth who are great patriot Muslims and love Pakistan.

Nawab Akbar Bugti had exiled his own tribe of Raheja, Kalpar and Messori sub-tribes into Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan for 15 years and had taken over their lands in Sui and Dera Bugti. He persecuted his own Baluch people and killed his own family members for demanding rights.

This is where Pakistan army intervened in 2004 to protect Baluch Bugti tribe from the crimes of Akbar Bugti in 2004 and helped the Kalpar, Messori and Raheja Bugtis to come back to their native lands. Upon this Akbar Bugti started a war against Pakistan and was then chased out into the hills where he committed suicide. Yes, Akbar Bugti committed suicide and he was NOT killed by the army.
Today, the MNA from dera Bugti is Mir Ahmadan Bugti, a patriotic Raheja Baluch, a first cousin of Akbar Bugti, who was exiled with over a hundred thousand Baluchs by Akbar Bugti. Army brought him back. He is the MNA and has been elected by the entire Bugti tribe and he defends Pakistan against terrorists of Brahmadagh Bugti. You hear the interviews of Brahmadagh in this SAFMA controlled media but you never hear the voice of Mir Ahmadan Bugti, the real patriotic Bugti Baluch Muslim and Pakistani! This is how media manipulates the truth. Go and ask Mir Ahmadan Bugti about the truth of Bugtis being against Pakistan and he will show you how proud Bugtis stand with Pakistan!

There is no government in Pakistan today, even in Islamabad and the country is in a state of war being invaded by enemies from all sides. If Pakistan army does not stop the TTP and the BLA terrorists, the country would be destroyed by now. That is why you see all the fake propaganda against the missing persons and army atrocities against the Baluch. In reality, FC and Pak army are defending Pakistan against Indian backed insurgencies where even the CIA is involved. There is a massive infighting between the BRA and BLA also where both groups are killing each other for weapons, money and turf. They kill each other and then blame army for the murders. Many have gone to Afghanistan for training and their families register them as missing persons. This is all part of the war against Pak army and the media is fuelling this war.

Americans want to take over Gawader. The recent resolution in US congress has encouraged the exiled separatists that they can use the CIA and India for a Libyan styled invasion. Never InshAllah! As long as Pakistan can block the NATO supplies, US do not have the resources and the weapons to make a landing at Gawader. If we release the supplies, then the Americans can make such a plan but even then, there will be fighting but Baluchistan can never be separated from Pakistan, InshAllah.

The situation in Baluchistan is NOT like of East Pakistan. The few thousand insurgents can blow up few pipelines and kills a few Muslims and soldiers but they can never break Pakistan which is under the shadow of Rasul Allah (sm).
Even today, from Governor to Chief Minister to ministers, all are Baluch in the government. The President of Pakistan is also a Baluch. Farooq Leghari was a Baluch also. Mazari was the prime Minister and was a Baluch also. Jamali was the PM and was a Baluch also. Baluchis Pakistanis Muslims from Baluchistan have reached the highest offices of this country. If Baluchistan have not received developments, they are responsible, not the army or the ISI. The whole country is suffering today not just Baluchistan.

We invite all Baluch youth to join hands with us in Takmeel e Pakistan to bring in the system of Khilafate Rashida so that all zulm can be eliminated and due rights can be shared within Muslims. But we will fight against all those who want to break the Pakistan of Rasul Allah (sm). By Allah, we will! This Pakistan is here to stay, alhamdolillah. The BLA will die a natural death the day the CIA leaves Afghanistan. Enemies can go to hell !

Who are against the development in Balochistan?

At least nine people, including seven labourers, were shot dead and two others wounded in separate incidents in Turbat and Qilla Saifullah on Tuesday.
The defunct Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for the killings in Turbat. According to the sources, unidentified armed men attacked a camp of labourers at the Maskan area, some 40 kilometres away from the Turbat town of Kech district. As a result, five people died on the spot and four others sustained serious wounds. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Turbat where two injured labourers succumbed to their injuries.
Around eight labourers were sitting in a camp of a private construction company, which is constructing a road, when they were attacked by armed men with sophisticated weapons, the attackers also torched two vehicles and some machinery of the company before fleeing the scene. Sources said that most of the deceased labourers were settlers, a term used for those who do not belong to Balochistan.
The spokesman of outlawed BLF, Dohda Baloch, called media offices from an unknown location and claimed the responsibility for the killings. He said besides the killings, the BLF militants had also torched four vehicles and heavy machinery of the construction company.
The spokesman said they had already warned the businessmen to avoid investing in Balochistan. He warned the private companies to halt their activities in Balochistan, saying they would have to face similar attacks in case of a failure.

West And Human Rights

America is using Balochistan to pressurize Islamabad to continue drama of so-called war against terrorism (SWAT), open NATO supply route and keep using military installations of Pakistan. It has already cost Pakistani public $100bn (China Daily), 40,000 innocent lives and a lost decade in economy, progress and international image. US Congress has joined the farce to reduce Afghan war expenditure, which has gone up tenfold. Washington is now forcing Islamabad to support illegal Afghan war, which has not been approved by the US Congress since 2001. As part of ‘checks and balance’, the Congress has failed to block funding of illegal Afghan war. The US president can order the war but it has to approved by the Congress for release of funds. Due to lack of funds and public pressure, Washington has already advanced Afghan troop withdrawal to 2013 from 2014. It is unfortunate to see US Congress interfering in Pakistan’s internal affairs by debating on Balochistan instead of ending illegal Afghan war and help restore peace in the region.

 West cannot run with Balochistan and stand with Islamabad at the same time. Pakistan’s parliament can also debate return of Georgia to Russia to help Putin rebuild former USSR, support independence of Alaska and Vermont. Reportedly, Vermont’s Parliament has passed two resolutions of independence from US. Alaskans and the environmentalists are already opposing Canada-Texas pipeline. The Nebraskans are unhappy over the raw deal and use of power by Washington involving control of gold reserves, natural resources and passage levy of western railway. Of course, Chinese would love to attend a session in Pakistan’s parliament condemning inhumane American and Canadian treatment of Chinese under “Go home magic washer”, throwing of sick and the dead western railway workers into rivers instead of providing treatment or decent burials (Canadian-Chinese documentary, CCTV), and imposition of ‘Head taxes’. However, these traitors and taxed were given nationalities to fight in the World War- a practice followed in Iraq and Afghan wars. It is a lesson for PPP government supporting Pak-US relations, SWAT and NATO supplies.

Human rights in West should be challenged. People should support demands for English parliament. Under UK, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own national assembly. England has nothing. The British government refuses to give any such political and constitutional recognition to England. Public supports Ireland, India and Pakistan seeking the prosecution of Queen Elizabeth for monarchy’s crimes against humanity in Ireland and the Subcontinent. In Bloody Sunday in Croke Park (1920) the Royal Irish Constabulary, the Police and the British troops shot indiscriminately into the crowd killing many (14) during a football match to avenge the death of British Intelligence officers. The British monarch was emboldened by the massacre of innocent people by General Dyer in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, India, 1919. The world supports Argentina’s call to take UK to UN to regain control of natural resources of Falklands, which belongs to people of Argentina.

Amnesty International should demand publication of Operation Raker Report (ORR). London has refused to publish the report to cover gross violations of human rights of Australia, America and Britain in Iraq including running of ‘ghost detention centers’. According to Human Rights Watch, the inter-agency unit was responsible for “some of the most serious allegations of detainee abuse” following the invasion. The victims were tortured, killed and dumped (RAF helicopter death revelation leads to secret Iraq detention camps, (Feb. 7, The Guardian). To avoid accountability, UK is calling for change in EU human right laws and changing British laws in the name of Green Paper. Pakistan’s lawmakers, judiciary and public should read the Guardian report and our media should expose human rights violations by the West. It is now the obligation of international and national human rights bodies to bring western leaders to the Hague. As per its policy, China should ban trade with the US, Australia and Britain.

  Reportedly, people in Latin America are demanding accountability of pro-US dictators for crimes against humanity including missing persons. Obama, during his last visit to Chile refused to support public demanding accountability of Gen Pinochet and alleged US support for his coup and crimes against the country, human rights violations and gross violations of international laws and conventions. The Chileans were also demanding accountability of all those Americans involved supporting and sustaining Pinochet throughout his stay in power.

  Pakistan can secure Balochistan. Instability is part of Obama’s Asia Defense Review allowing US to intervene in other parts of the world. The insurgency in Balochistan has foreign support (Balochistan issue in US Congress). Arguably, bringing Balochistan under international human rights spotlight is a pressure tactic to secure US geo-strategic interests in South Asia, restart NATO supply route, establish permanent military bases in Afghanistan, force Islamabad to join anti-China arch constituting Turkey (NATO missile shield), Afghanistan and India. Islamabad can easily counter it by adopting T-strategy. The horizontal part of T constitutes Russia, China and Europe and the stem part is Pakistan. The parliament and the people should tell the government to link ME with Asia through Gwadar and relocate 20 million Pakistanis in Balochistan on war footings to secure its territorial integrity on lines of American Homestead Law (13 states) and China poverty alleviation program lifting 250 million Chinese out of poverty in last ten years. Pak-Iran gas agreement of 40BCF (1995 agreement) should be protected. Russian-ME link through Pakistan will bring seven pipelines (4 Qatar, 3 Saudi Arabia) with $70bn royalty in addition to $700 bn trade and commerce links.

The Baloch should play their part in the equation. We can relocate 30 million Pakistanis to Balochistan (and FATA) to generate jobs, start domestic consumption based economy, and improve security. The way forward lies in unity, justice and equitable distribution of resources not in killings of non-Balochi Pakistanis. The Baloch must be given control of natural resources under 18th Amendment, but in return they should also respect Constitutional rights of fellow Pakistanis to work and settle in Balochistan. The Baloch should learn about West’s human right records from history.

Pakistan Army's Contribution - The Fact

 Pakistan Army is playing major role in development of Balochistan and providing all facilities to the local people of Balochistan like health, education, job opportunities, technical training, and skill development, poverty eradication, maintaining law and order, striving for peace and prosperity, creating an encouraging working environment. For providing job opportunity ISSB centre has been established in Quetta; special relaxation of 5% marks extra marks has given to candidates of Balochistan province as compared to other provinces. Criteria is 8th class instead of Matric in all services expect technical arms, height 5’-4” instead of 5’-6” and chest 74-79cm instead of 78-83cm, age 26 instead of 23 years, FA/FSA grade ‘D’ instead of grade ‘C’ for enrollment as a clerk.

  These all compensations offered to Balochistan by Pakistan Army for development of that province; and provide job opportunities to more population. Pakistan Army also play key role to trounce illiteracy rate in Balochistan, for that purpose 110 school have been renovated by Army in Balochistan, more than 1600 students are getting education in Army school and colleges, 6,167 Balochistan students are being educated in 16 FG schools and colleges. Chamalang Beneficiaries Educational Program is also a major achievement by Pakistan Army. 100% free education is being provided to 1496 students by FC in FC Public schools and colleges. Pakistan Army running so many educational institutions in Balochistan. Hostel for 100 students from Marri and Luni tribes has been established at Quetta, with free boarding, accommodation, and medical facility along with monthly stipend of Rs 500. An average, Rs 6,500 is being spent on each student per month. Pakistan Army had established various technical institutes in Balochistan in collaboration with National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (NAVTEC). Army school of technicians (AST) is imparting skill development training since 2006 for un-employed youth of Balochistan province, 1,013 Balochistan students have been given technical training through Balochistan Institute of Technical Education (BITE) and Army School of Technicians (AST), there are also some incentives provided by BITE e.g. No admission fee, stipend of Rs 2000 per month, job opportunities with other especial facilities. Pakistan Army provided technical skills to both male and females of Balochistan province. Males got skills like carpenters, welders, home appliance mechanic, driver, auto car mechanic, and female getting skill in beautician courses, dress designing, computer operator courses. Starting skill development program for women of Balochistan province is big effort by Pakistan Army because women in our society is treated with discrimination and in Balochistan, mostly women are not allowed to get education while Pakistan Army by providing them skills, encouraged other women of that province and provide them equal opportunities like mans.

  Pakistan Army did put all its efforts enhance educational level in Balochistan, on the order of Army Chief, Pakistan Army also did arrange of so many personality building and grooming program at hostels; students also participated in extracurricular activities at hostels. Chamalang coal mine was a reason of confrontation between two tribes, Pashtoon Luni and Baloch Marri, they started bloody war over it, the head of Luni tribe Sardar Asmat Ullah made request to government seeking role of military as a mediator for final resolution of this conflict; Pakistan Army intervened and end this bloody conflict and both sides reached a peace agreement on December 2006. Both tribes are getting their shares to avoid further conflicts. Mining of coal started a Baloch people has got opportunity of employment here, 71,586 individuals have been provided job opportunities, 2000 Marri tribesman have been employed as guards. 

 Pakistan Army launched educational program to educated children of these tribes. 4 water supply schemes have been completed in Balochistan and for Chamalang, Pakistan Army established telephone link and Army has developed 76 km road to minefield to market. 4 labor colonies had constructed, electricity has been provided, and construction of landing strip is in progress. Pakistan Army also providing health facilities of local peoples of Balochistan, Pakistan Army has established free medical camps. Medical relief was also provided in disasters of Balochistan including earthquake and flash floods; in case of emergency Balochistan people are being treated in working hours also. This province was backward as compared to other provinces of Pakistan but due to struggle of Pakistan Army so many development projects started in Balochistan, some have been completed are some are still in under progress, after the contribution of Pakistan Army, now Balochistan is much developed as compared to previous years.
