Pakistan Army Helping their Brothers in FATA

Pakistan Army has aimed at bringing qualitative change in socioeconomic conditions of the people of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and ending their decades-old sense of deprivation. The army had also been assigned the task of undertaking development work in the tribal areas to alleviate the sufferings of the people. All development works would be completed within the stipulated time and the march towards a better future would continue unhindered, Army is undertaking development works amounting to Rs4.5 billion. Tank-Jandola-Makeen and Tank-Wana roads would be built in phase one while the Shakai-Makeen and Wana-Torwam Roads would be constructed in phase two of the development project. Survey and feasibility study of Kundiwam and Dana dams has also been started to provide irrigation water and promote agriculture. To restore electricity to the affected areas, 1,344 transformers are being installed while repair work on low-tension (LT) and high-tension (HT) electricity lines was in full swing. These steps will help to bring positive change in lives of tribal areas. All these projects are warmly welcomed by the people of FATA and they are supporting Pak army for bringing happiness and peace in FATA.
