A number of bitter questions come to mind once we see the pictures of children, women and young people being killed and crippled by the mine blasts and IEDs in Balochistan. Unfortunately, the Province with abundant potential to develop and progress is being pushed back to “darkness” by the criminal elements. The phenomenon is resulting into orphan children and impoverished families who do not even know why such catastrophe is unleashed on them. They are the innocent sufferers of the wreck less criminal acts of the so called ‘liberation seekers’
The almost daily acts of terrorism and killings in Balochistan cannot be the handiwork of a few misguided people and certainly there are foreign agencies that are providing them arms and ammunition and financial support. Hundreds of people migrated to other areas due life threats because of tribal enmities and these criminal elements are blaming security agencies for the abduction of these so called missing persons.
People should launch a full-fledged movement against the terrorist outfits Baloch Liberation Front and Baloch Liberation Army. B.L.A and B.L.F are no different than al Qaeda. These militant groups are actively involved in terrorist activities in Balochistan and working on western agenda to defame Pakistani security agencies.
